What:
Detectives assigned to the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division and SWAT Team have executed a search warrant in a St. Petersburg home and uncovered an active meth lab. The investigation led to the arrest of five suspects for various charges to include manufacturing and possession of Methamphetamine.
When:
The search warrant was executed at approximately 11:41 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2015.
Where:
The search warrant was executed at 2500 19th Street in St. Petersburg.
Why/How:
According to investigators the month long investigation began with detectives conducting undercover buys of methamphetamine.
The undercover operation led detectives to a residence located at 2500 19th Street North, St. Petersburg.
Through various investigative techniques, detectives determined a meth lab was operating at this location and obtained a search warrant.
Narcotics detectives along with members of SWAT Team executed the search warrant on the house at about 11:41 a.m. on February 27, 2015.
Investigators say three individuals identified as 51-year-old Penni D. Waters, 56-year-old Daniel Waters and 46 year-old Karen Galvez were inside the home and arrested for manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine.
Two other individual identified as 54-year-old Roswell A. Merril and 43-year-old Trenton A. Parduhn were also arrested. Detectives say the two were seen leaving the residence just before the execution of the search warrant. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and arrested them for possession of Methamphetamine.
Investigators have taken possession of multiple chemicals and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of meth.
