School Resource Deputies
The sheriff’s office contracts with the Pinellas County School Board to provide School Resource Deputies in the following middle schools and high schools. The role of the School Resource Deputy is to maintain a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff members. School Resource Deputies also present a variety of personal safety and substance abuse prevention programs.
