Pinellas detectives are investigating a shooting that seriously injured a man in unincorporated Clearwater.
At about 7:23 a.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017, deputies were called to a residence located at 14660 64th Street North, in unincorporated Clearwater, regarding an armed person.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim 38-year-old Taoufik Borji, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Borji was transported to Bayfront Medical Center with life threatening injuries.
Detectives say the shooting does not appear random.
