St. Petersburg Man Arrested for Possession And Transmission of Child Pornography (25-149)

ST. PETERSBURG– Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Petersburg man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 26-year-old Cody Meader.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of two and nine years old.

On December 18, 2025, Meader was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 11 counts of Transmission of Child Pornography.

Meader was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
