East Lake High School Student Arrested for Written Threats to Commit a Mass Shooting (25-116)

TARPON SPRINGS – On September 22, 2025, detectives assigned to the Threat Management Division arrested an East Lake High School student for Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting.

Detectives say 15-year-old Victoria Keene sent a Snapchat and a group chat message regarding her school saying “…Everyone is incompetent imbecile and everyone is getting shot.”

Detectives made contact with Keene, who admitted to sending the Snapchat and message but stated she did so jokingly because she was mad that she was not allowed to leave school early.

 Keene was arrested and charged with one count of Written Threats to Kill or Conduct a Mass Shooting.
