MAIT Investigates Vehicle Versus Motorcycle Crash in Seminole (26-074)
SEMINOLE – Deputies assigned to the Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) are investigating a vehicle versus motorcycle crash in Seminole.
According to investigators, on August 20, 2026, at approximately 4:16 P.M., 55-year-old Vien Dinh was driving north on Seminole Boulevard in a 2025 Tesla Model 3. At the same time, 45-year-old Morgan Svensson was driving south on Seminole Boulevard on a 2006 Honda CBR 1000R motorcycle.
Investigators say Dinh entered the left turn lane to turn west onto 53rd Avenue North. Dinh made the left turn into the path of Svensson’s motorcycle resulting in a T-bone collision. Svensson was ejected from his motorcycle and transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Dinh was not injured in the crash and cooperated with deputies.
Speed appears to be a factor in this case.
Next of kin has been notified.
The investigation continues.
