St. Petersburg Man Arrested for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography (26-019)
ST. PETERSBURG – Detectives assigned to the Cyber Investigations Unit have arrested a St. Petersburg man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography.
Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 30-year-old Marlon Perez.
According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of four and six years old.
On February 12, 2026, Perez was arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Transmission of Child Pornography.
Perez was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
