St. Petersburg Man Arrested for Possession And Transmission of Child Pornography (25-110)

ST. PETERSBURG– Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Petersburg man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography.

Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 26-year-old Anthony Butcher.

According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of three and ten years old.

On September 5, 2025, Butcher was arrested and charged with five counts of Possession of Child Pornography and five counts of Transmission of Child Pornography.

Butcher was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.

The investigation continues.
