Detectives Arrest St. Petersburg Man for Possession and Transmission of Child Pornography.
ST. PETERSBURG – Detectives assigned to the Crimes Against Children Unit (CAC) have arrested a St. Petersburg man for possession of child pornography.
Detectives began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the internet. Through various investigative techniques, detectives identified the suspect as 21-year-old Andrew Joseph Pogorzala. According to detectives, the images were of children between the ages of 4 and 10 years old.
On August 6, 2025, Pogorzala was arrested and charged with 6 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 1 Count of Transmission of Child Pornography.
Pogorzala was transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
The investigation continues.
